Have a drink of water before you start, then with three to four fingers together, tap on the karate chop point as you say the words. This is the point on the outside of your hand, located between your wrist and the little finger.

Repeat the following statements aloud, and each time you say them tap the karate chop point, tapping along with the words you are speaking.
Put emotion into the words so that you feel what you are saying. Even if you are doing this silently, still allow yourself to feel the emotion as you mentally say the words.
KC: Even though I have this deadline, that makes me feel anxious and stressed, I deeply and completely accept my feelings about this.
KC: Even though I am not sure that I can get done, what I need to get done on time, which makes me feel stressed, I deeply and completely accept myself and my feelings.
KC: Even though I feel upset at my boss for putting me in this position, and I blame him for my stress, I choose to forgive him and to accept myself and my feelings.
Now take a deep breath and let it out. Note: I changed it as I went along. Say whatever feels right as you do it. Now lets continue on doing the actual meridian tapping on the points on your face.
Use your first two fingers together when you tap on your face, and when you get down to the collarbone point and under your arm you may like to use three or four fingers.
Tap hard enough for it to be felt, but not so hard that you harm yourself!
There are a couple of ways you can do the next part. You may choose to simply use a reminder phrase such as, this stress, or say the whole phrase, or change it as you go along.
I actually like the idea of changing it as you go along, as it allows you to vent some of your anger. It may even help to resolve parts of the issue, that you may not have been aware that you were really quite irritable or upset about.

If you find it hard to change the words, just saying my stress and thinking about the issues will work. If you are doing it silently in the bathroom, just think about what is stressing you as you tap.
If you have a bad day at work, when you come home, tap on it that night and allow yourself to be emphatic. This also works if you are at home with little ones and feel very stressed.
